# Manage account security

> Change your sign-in email address or password and complete email verification when required.

The **Settings** > **Account** page manages your sign-in credentials. Use **Settings** > **Team** to change the active business name.

## Change your email address

    Open **Settings** > **Account** and choose **Change email**.

  <Step title="Confirm the request">
    Submit the form.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify the address">
    Open the verification message at the new address and follow its confirmation link.
  </Step>

Your current email address remains active until verification succeeds.

## Change your password

Choose **Change password**, enter your current password, and create a new unique password. If you cannot sign in, use **Forgot password** from the login page instead.

LobbyStack never asks you to send a password, reset token, or verification link to support staff.
