Changes you make here do not affect calls already in progress. LobbyStack takes a snapshot of your configuration at the start of each new call, so any setting you save takes effect the next time someone dials in.

How configuration changes take effect

LobbyStack uses a snapshot-based approach to keep live calls stable. When a call begins, the system captures a point-in-time snapshot of your receptionist’s profile — including your greeting, language, rules, and knowledge. Any edits you save in the dashboard apply to the next call, not to calls already in progress. This means you can update your configuration at any time without worrying about disrupting a caller mid-conversation.
