Make a demo
You need your dashboard address before you make a demo, because the demo opens there. On Demos, click Create demo, then fill in the Prepare a demo form:1
Describe the prospect
Enter the Business name and the Website URL the receptionist learns from. Add a Greeting if you want a specific one.
2
Add suggested prompts
Under Suggested prompts, write at least two questions the prospect can ask, one per line, such as
Can I request a quote?.3
Choose its access (owners and admins)
Under Access once the prospect claims it, pick Full access or Activity only. A member’s demo gets full access.
4
Create it
Click Create demo. LobbyStack reads the prospect’s website to build the demo, and nobody can open it until you publish it.
Publish and share the link
A demo opens from a secure link that you send the prospect. LobbyStack keeps no copy of the link, so the console shows it only in the browser session that created or rotated it:- Click Publish once the demo is ready.
- Click Open secure link to open the demo, and copy its address to send to the prospect.
Turn off or delete a demo
Click Revoke to turn a demo off, so its link stops working. Owners and admins can then click Delete to erase a demo and its calls and chats, once it’s turned off or expired and nobody claimed it.Count a demo’s usage
A demo’s calls and chats use your pool’s minutes and chats, like any of your businesses. Each card shows its minutes and chats this month. A demo has no package and no phone number until someone claims it. Click Open on a demo to work inside its dashboard, the way you open a business. The demo’s audit log records the open. When the prospect claims the demo
The prospect clicks Claim this receptionist and signs in or creates an account on your address. They become the owner, and the business stays with your partner at the access level you chose:- The demo moves from Demos to Businesses, where owners and admins can sell it a package.
- Settings your team changed during the demo stay. Settings nobody changed switch from the demo’s instructions to a new business’s defaults.
- The owner’s onboarding starts where an owner you invited would start.
- Only you can release the business to its owner later, as with any of your businesses.
