Your partner team is everyone who uses your console. Each person is an owner, an admin or a member, and the role decides which console pages they can change. Owners and admins invite people on the Team page, and only owners can make someone an owner.

Choose a role

Each role includes what the role below it can do: Members don’t see prices, so the Packages, Payments and Billing pages and each business’s billing stay hidden from them. They can view the Branding & domain, Team, Templates and Settings pages without changing them.

Invite someone to your team

An invitation goes out by email under your brand, and the person joins once they accept it:
1

Open the invitation form

Go to Team and click Invite.
2

Enter their email and role

Enter their address under Email and pick a role under Role. Admins can invite admins and members. Owners can also invite owners.
3

Send the invitation

Click Send invitation. They get an email with a link to join your partner.
The link works for 7 days. The person opens it, signs in or creates an account with the invited address, verifies it, and clicks Accept invitation. Until then, the Team page lists the invitation as Pending, or Expired once the link expires. To withdraw it, open the invitation’s menu and choose Cancel invitation.

Change a role or remove someone

Open the menu beside a person on the Team page and choose Make owner, Make admin, Make member or Remove from team. Admins see these choices for admins and members. Only owners can make someone an owner, change an owner’s role or remove an owner. Your partner always keeps at least one owner. Removing or demoting the last one fails with Your partner needs at least one owner. When you remove someone, they lose access to the console and to each of your businesses right away, including any business they had open.

How your team works inside a business

People on your team never join a business’s own team. They open the business from the console instead, and the business’s audit log records each time they do. See Open a business to support it. For the same reason, someone on your team can’t own one of your businesses, and a business’s owner can’t invite them to its team. Use the email of the client who owns the business when you create it.
